We absolutely love our weathervane. Christ designed it exactly to our specifications, and his artistry in the stance of both the hare and the penguin were spot on. We have mounted it on the deck of our garden, and renamed the deck The Hare and Penguin as it is the scene of many a happy evenings spent drinking with friends and family. The weathervane is very well balanced and keeps are perfectly informed of the wind direction. We looked into a few designers for our weathervane but were so delighted when we found Chris. He is the best!

Being an airborne soldier it was appropriate to have above mentioned weathervane having received the the item I was over the moon with the craftsmanship quality and the finish it now sits on top of my gazebo that I have just built. I have been in touch with Chris regarding another project. Which will be carried out soon.

I’ve have now purchased 2 weather vanes from Chris Clarke – one ‘off the shelf’ and one bespoke, both of these are absolutely perfect in every way. I couldn’t have asked for more. Chris made us a beautiful greyhound weather vane which we had installed in August 2025. He was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process & his words of advice in writing on the suitable installation of it on our dormer roof on fixing it to different materials was invaluable & much appreciated !!

The workmen installing it even commented on what an exceptionally beautiful well made weather vane it was which it undoubtedly is !! & silent when revolving in wind unlike a neighbour s which is quite noisy.

I went to Chris with a wooden weathervane My Grandfather has made many years earlier. I wanted a replica made for My Fathers 70th birthday. Chris was brilliant and worked with me through the design phase, sent drawings and kept me up to date with progress. The end result was beautiful, and bought a tear to My Dads eye. Thanks Chris!

Chris made a weather vane for us featuring a kestrel, and we are absolutely delighted with it. It sits proudly on our porch extension on the side of the house and has really become a standout feature. The craftsmanship is excellent and the attention to detail in the design is clear to see.
